How we collect, use and look after your personal information.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Who we are

March Hare Leisure Centre (“March Hare Leisure”, “we”, “us”) runs karting, shooting and multi-activity events at Broughton Hackett, Worcester, WR7 4BE. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

If you have any question about this policy or about your information, email info@march-hare.co.uk or call 01905 381219.

What we collect, and why

When you enquire or book

Our enquiry forms, emails and phone calls give us your name, email address, phone number, your company or group name if you give one, and the details of your event: the date, the number of people, the activities and food you would like, the age of the youngest person taking part, and anything you tell us in your notes. If you book, we also keep your quotes, the numbers you confirm, any dietary numbers you give us (how many vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meals, not who they are for), the emails between us about the event, and a record of your payments.

We use this to answer your enquiry, check availability, give you a price, run your event safely and take payment. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and then carrying out that contract.

When you pay

Card payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure page. We never see or store your card details. Stripe tells us that a payment was made, its amount and the invoice it was for, and we keep that with your booking. If you pay by bank transfer we see the name and reference on the payment.

Manage my booking

If you use the Manage my booking page, we email a short sign-in code to the address on your booking. The page shows your own booking only, and lets you update your numbers, choose options, pay and send us a message.

Offers and news by email

We send occasional offers and news by email to people who have asked for them (for example by ticking “send me offers” or signing up on our website) and to past customers about similar events, which the law allows unless you say no. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time. Unsubscribing does not affect emails about a booking you have with us.

When you visit our website (cookies)

With your agreement we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, and Google Ads to see which adverts lead to enquiries. These use cookies and similar identifiers, and tell us things such as the pages visited and roughly where in the country a visitor is; they do not tell us who you are. They are switched off until you press Accept on the cookie message, and stay off if you choose No thanks; you can change your mind at any time with “Cookie choices” at the bottom of any page. Our enquiry forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep out automated spam. We also count how far visitors get through our enquiry forms, using a random number for the browser tab that says nothing about the person.

On the day

Everyone taking part signs in on arrival. If there is an accident we record it, as the law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. We use a small number of companies to run the business, who handle information only on our instructions:

Some of these companies may process information outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires. We may also share information where the law says we must, for example with HMRC, our accountant, our insurers or the police.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or limit how we use it, or to send it to someone else. You can object to marketing at any time. To do any of these, email info@march-hare.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
